Mr M had an patio area on the side of his property that he wanted to use for outside dining and entertaining all year round. He wanted to create a space with a ‘wow’ factor and the Cachet veranda with clear laminated glass seemed like a perfect fit. It’s contemporary style, robust engineering qualities and build quality seemed like the perfect solution for this project.
Being ‘L’ shaped, on survey, we needed to make sure we got the exact measurements so as to be able to create a perfect seal from any water ingress. As a permanent solution, we sealed the back and side with lead flashing. The downpipe was concealed within one of the posts and exited into the attractive planter which the veranda fronted. Finally an infrared heater was added for instant heat so as to maintain it’s usability even on cool days/evenings.
