Mr & Mrs B have a south facing garden with some wonderful views including a canal and some tall protected trees. Apart from rain, they also wanted their veranda to shelter them from the suns glare & heat. In addition, they wanted a clear view when looking up which immediately ruled out Opal Polycarbonate roof panels. The solution, Solar Control Glass, which controls both heat soak and glare whilst still allowing for clear vision. In hot conditions this special glass is used to minimise solar heat gain. It allows sunlight to pass through while radiating and reflecting away a large degree of the sun’s heat. Finally, so as to blend in with it’s environment, the frame was powder coated in Grey White. Needless to say, our clients were delighted with the end result.
